Smaller 'snug' style room with games console, TV, Sky Freeview, video and toys and games for children. Door to garden area. Upstairs to half landing with bathroom one with bath, W.C and wash basin. Further stairs lead to the first floor and two bedrooms: Double - a low level contemporary style and excellent views. Twin - large twin bedroom. The Croft is on the edge of Ilfracombe town and has superb sea views over the Bristol Channel. The town centre and Harbour are a ten minute walk away and 'The Old Thatched House' pub and a village store are within 200 yards. The owners of The Croft highly recommend Porters restaurant, which is just off the high street. Ilfracombe's charming natural harbour and elegant Victorian architecture make the town as popular today as it has been since the 1830's. Ilfracombe offers fun and entertainment for all! Visit the unique Tunnels Beaches with bathing areas and boating pool, or simply wander around the town with its waterfront cafes, restaurants and shops. Ilfracombe is a consistent winner of Britain in Bloom with the colourful displays brightening up the streets and seafront. The historic natural harbour, set amidst spectacular cliffs and coves, has pleasure craft and fishing boats for visitors. Pleasure trips are always on offer during the summer season and Ilfracombe is one of the ports used by the M.S Oldenburg on its regular passenger services to Lundy Island. For the nature lover and rambler, Ilfracombe is an ideal location. The spectacular Torrs walks, which follow the coastal footpath to Lee have been described as some of the finest walks in England. The unique Tunnels Beaches provide safe bathing areas with secluded beaches and pools, accessed through tunnels quarried beneath the cliffs. To the East the pretty cove of Hele Bay is a veritable paradise of rock pools and sandy inlets for that perfect day out.
