Location:
In Designated National Scenic Area, renowned for it's variety of wildlife, magnificent scenery and mountain trails. An ideal base for touring the North West Highlands. The house has commanding views on all sides, including two of Scotland's greatest mountains; Slioch and Beinn Eighe, with Liathach, Beinn Alligan, and the Torridon Mountains close by. Pine Martens visit the house regularly (especially if you feed them!) and deer and eagles are often seen. The house is a short distance from Torridon and Loch Maree, and the numerous sandy beaches and bays around Gairloch, Red Point and Torridon. The area's attractions include whale-watching trips, salmon, sea trout, brown trout, pike and sea fishing, bird-watching, falconry courses, deer-stalking and deer museum, guided walking and climbing, pony-trekking, golf course, swimming pool, bike and car hire, sea- kayaking and boat trips on Loch Maree to view Viking graves. Inverewe Gardens.
