We have given personal attention to detail when we created our Self Catering accommodation in Lerwick, Shetland's main town, where our apartments are based in two different locations. Whatever your reason for coming to Shetland, whether it be business or on holiday, you will find that we can accommodate your needs with ease. Our visitors are important to us, and over the past 9 years we have listened to what they have said about their stay at Self Catering Shetland, and have tweaked and adapted our service accordingly.

Our properties are located in Lerwick, Shetland's small and busy town. Ideal for the holiday maker and for the business traveller away from home and looking for something more personal than a hotel room, a 'hame fae hame' that offers a blend of comfort and luxury. Giving you, our guest, the flexibility and choice to arrive and depart on any day. No Saturday to Saturday restrictions. No minimum stay. The least we can do for you, when you have chosen to travel to the farthest reaches of Great Britain, to Shetland, our beautiful and enchanting wind swept islands, is to offer you a comfortable homely stay. Shetland where daylight lingers for up to 24 hours in the heart of the summer, and darkness lifts for around 6 - 7 hours in the heart of winter. Shetland, where we have been recorded as the 'sunniest place in the UK' during the past two summer periods! Or in the winter come and experience the most amazingly wild gales, when nature honours us with a display of her sheer raw power, and alternatively her spectacular displays of the 'Aurora Borealis'.

Shetland provides a unique and diverse opportunity for naturalists and wildlife enthusiasts to watch and observe the bird life, otters and the odd pod of whales passing by! Our new World Geo-Park status proves the diversity of geology and 'geological history' in Shetland. In Shetland, we have fantastic roads and public transport service, as well as brilliant facilities in the shape of our leisure centres and swimming pools, and playing parks for children scattered all over the island! There are boat trips to take you out to the isles and out of reach beauty spots, giving you the opportunity to see our islands from a sea viewpoint.
