Description:
Pillarbox Cottage is a Grade II listed barn converted in 2008 to a high standard. It has a Kitchen/ Diner with breakfast bar and seating, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and a washing machine. There is a dwonstairs clockroom with w/c. The lounge has a colour TV, DVD and CD radio. On the first floor is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bath, w/c and hand basin. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. There is a no smoking policy and pets are not allowed. There is off road parking for 1 vehicle.
Location:
Pillarbox Cottage is in a elevated position close to the town of Matlock which is within 5 miles of the Peak District National Park. The cottage is close to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, with the Market town of Bakewell only 8 miles away. The High Peak Trail goes from the nearby village of Cromford and is ideal for walking or cycling. Carsington Water with its Visitor & Activity centre and Crich Tramway Village are both nearby. Matlock also has excellent public transport links.
