Penzance is just a 10 min level walk along the promenade and you can walk to Mousehole along the coastal path in around 20 mins, or to St. Michael's Mount and Marazion to the east.

For those interested in culture, Newlyn boasts 3 art galleries whilst St. Ives and the Tate is a short drive away.

Lands End, Sennen and Porthcurno which is home to the famous 'Minack theatre' (stunning open air amphitheatre set in the rocks) is 10 miles to the west. There are a host of interesting walks and beautiful sandy beaches all nearby.

Newlyn is an all seasons location, famous for the Newlyn/Mousehole Christmas lights and festivities. It is on the scenic cycle route, has a regular bus service, a taxi rank and is approx. 1 mile from Penzance train station (in fact a car may not be necessary).
