Beautiful cottage in rural location 15min drive from Jedburgh and 20min from Hawick. Set in two acres of mature gardens enjoying superb scenery and views. Including covered parking, barbeque, outside furniture and children's swings. Large paddock for exercising dogs. Accommodation comprises double and twin bedrooms, farmhouse style kitchen with 5 steps up to large sitting room,(all rooms have been completely refurnished in new solid oak) bathroom with pressure shower over bath, utility room with automatic washing machine and freezer. Everything we can think of is provided-please let us know if you have any requests and we will do our best to accommodate. The Steadings self catering cottage is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle, we are well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as well as Northumberland with Hadrian\'s wall, Kielder Water and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge.

From Jedburgh TIC drive three miles south on the A68 - turn right at the Chesters 5 miles signpost. From Hawick, take the A698 towards Jedburgh. 500yds after leaving Hawick turn right onto the A6088 follow this road for 8 miles through Bonchester Bridge and onto Chesters.
