Jack's House sleeps five and is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of West Cornwall looking across the fields to the sea and the Isles of Scilly. The famous sandy surfing beach at Sennen Cove is nearby. Twin sitting rooms over look the small sunny garden which is equipped with table and chairs and a barbecue. Ideal for watching the famous local sunsets! Indoors this well equipped house has a wealth of original features including beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace complete with wood burning stove as well as thoroughly modern central heating! The house has been modernised and refurbished to a high standard without losing its original character. The attractive beamed Kitchen has a rustic brick arch, terracotta tiles and a large range cooker. A stable door leads on to the lane. There are 2 beamed Sitting Rooms both with garden aspect, the larger one with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and Freesat TV and DVD. The second sitting room has wifi and a CD player and lots of DVDs Videos and Books. On the first floor is a large double bedroom, twin and good sized single, all with views to the sea or across countryside. Family bathroom has bath with shower over and glass screen. Location:
The village of Sennen lies a mile away from Land's End in the far west of Cornwall. It is a fine location from which to explore the whole of the Land's End peninsula. Families may wish to take in the delights of Sennen Cove just a mile or so away, with its excellent beach, restaurants and pub. Sennen village has plenty of fine attractions for families with plenty of spectacular beaches within walking distance from Sennen. Whether you are a begginer or a more experienced surfer Sennen beaches are ideal as you can choose the size of the wave you surf. Sennen also has a fine range of walks which makes a perfect day out. There are also plenty of places to explore including many old mining heritage sites. Sennen village has many amazing local pubs which offer food and drink all day long and plenty of restaurants which makes a good meal to top off a fun day out.
