Riverside Cottage is a hour away from London off the A303. The beautiful Test Valley around Stockbridge is worth exploring as is Winchester with its famous Cathedral. Salisbury, Romsey and the New Forest are all in reach within 30 minutes drive. Southampton and the Hamble are within 20 minutes drive away. Riverside Cottage is in a little Hamlet called Bransbury but close to the village of Barton Stacey with a Beautiful Church, Post Office, Pub and Shop. Riverside Cottage is off the A303 going west. From the M25 (or if coming from London you can go straight to the M3) take M3 to junction 8 - the A303.
