All cottages have been tastefully converted from 18th century dwellings. They have all been completely renovated to modern day standards but maintained their character. They are set in interesting gardens with a summerhouse retreat. Glen Helen Cottage number 1 sleeps 4 [double and twin rooms]. Downstairs there is a kitchen/dining room and a separate lounge, complete with an harmonium. The two bedrooms are upstairs together with the bathroom. Glen Helen Cottage number 2 sleeps 3 [double and single rooms]. There is a kitchen/diner downstairs plus a separate lounge. The bedrooms are upstairs as is the shower room. Mount View sleeps 4 [kingsize and twin rooms]. Downstairs there is a lounge, dining hall, kitchen/diner, utility room and cloakroom. The bedrooms are upstairs together with the bathroom which has a bath and separate shower cubicle. All cottages are equipped to a high standard. Each cottage has an electric cooker, microwave, freezer and fridge. The four-person cottages have a dishwasher. Glen Helen cottages have a modern clothes washer and dryer available in the old wash house. Mount View has a clothes washer in the utility room. The lounge of each cottage has a DVD player, 'freeview' television and a radio. There is 'off-lane' parking at the cottages. In front of Glen Helen there is space for three cars and at Mount View there is space for two. All cottages have full central heating, additional electrical heating and are fully double glazed. The gardens have an interesting range of plantings. There are both paved and grassed areas with garden furniture. The bed are made up with duvets. Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the rental as are all heating and lighting costs.

The cottages are just on the Shropshire side of the England / Wales border, in the village of Pant. Unwind on local walks on the Shropshire-Welsh Marches. Good walking from the cottage door. Stroll to Wales and back after tea. Explore National Trust castles, gardens, steam trains, canals, rivers, lakes and local heritage. Enjoy fishing, golf and pony-trekking in the area, or just relax and experience the inspiring Shropshire fare served in the local inns. Chester, Llangollen, Ironbridge, Oswestry, Welshpool and Shrewsbury within easy reach.
