Bordering rich meadows where sheep and cows graze, our nine highly individual cottages provide a perfect base for those seeking a countryside setting whilst still being only a short walk to the lovely old market town. Pickering’s attractions include the famous North York Moors steam railway, a historic 12th century castle, Victorian museum and indoor swimming pool as well as excellent shops, market, pubs and restaurants selling superb local produce. Our traditional stone cottages are set around a peaceful courtyard and fountain with adjoining gardens. They retain much of their original rustic character with open beamed ceilings, traditional stone fireplaces and pan tile roofs so typical of the area.
