We are delighted to be able to offer this beautiful holiday accomodation with private entrance set over two floors. The windows and balcony overlook the courtyard in the St Elvan's Court development which was completed in 2004 on the harbourside in Porthleven in southwest Cornwall. The owners are Above Beach Cottage customers who liked Porthleven so much they bought their own place in the town and have furnished it to the very highest standards. St Elvan's Retreat offers contemporary accommodation in the most historic part of Porthleven, yards from the harbour, restaurants and pubs and a short stroll from the beach. Property comprises one double bedroom with four poster bed and ensuite with shower, twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath and shower over. The main living area is open plan with spacious dining and lounge areas and a well-fitted and equipped kitchen. There is a further sitting room/play area on the ground floor and a small balcony. Oak floors, granite worktops, leather furniture, and attention to detail in every area gives the feeling of luxury and the music, DVD and televisions with Sky freeview programming will keep you entertained. Wireless broadband is provided to keep you in touch if you must! The unique historic harbour of Porthleven, Cornwall, is situated some 3 miles from Helston and really does offer the visitor everything - a magnificent stretch of beach complete with rock pools, the harbour with its fishing and boats, the fabulous restaurants and cafes, traditional Cornish pubs and hospitality and, of course, the coastal path right on your doorstep giving access to some of the most spectacular scenery Britain has to offer. In Porthleven, Cornwall, you can spend your time browsing the galleries, craft shops, gift shops and jewellers, in fact you need not go out of the village for anything. There is live music in the pubs and on the harbourside, and events throughout the summer such as gig racing, lifeboat day and traditional Cornish festivals. Porthleven, Cornwall, remains unspoilt and is still a thriving local community rather than a holiday resort. Virtually all of the shops and restaurants are open all year round and all West Cornwall's towns and attractions are a short drive away.
