The large kitchen/dining area is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer. 3 Bedrooms, sleeps 6 + 2 on Gallery sleeping area. One Bedroom is on the ground floor with own ensuite. There is a family bathroom and 1 guest WC. Ideal for family and small groups. Facilities for wheelchair guests. Own transport desirable. From Dublin Airport or Belfast Road or M50 Motor way
* From Dublin Airport follow sign to Dublin City. * Then take M50 motorway Southbound. * Through Toll Bridge. * Continue Southbound. * Take Exit 12 for Ballyboden/Firhouse. Follow signs for Ballyboden. * You will come to a Roundabout. * Take 2nd Exit onto Scholarstown Road. * Next Roundabout take 2nd Exit. (Sign is for Ballyboden/Rathfarnham). * At the next Roundabout take 3rd Exit. (Sign is for Rockbrook R116). * Continue up Edmondstown Road past Edmondstown Golf (on your left) up past The Merry Ploughboy Pub (formally Doherty's Pub) * Take next left into Tibradden Rd. and then immediately turn right into Mutton Lane. * Take the next right into Tibradden Lane and continue up to the end of the road - the Cottages are at the top of the road.
From Dublin Port
* If you are coming into Dublin Port watch out for the maps available on the Ferry for directions to Dublin City Centre. * Follow signs to Dublin City Centre. * You will be out on the North Wall Quay and then out onto Custom House Quay. * Take first Bridge on left hand side. Over Bridge turn right. Continue on up the Quays. * Take left on Wellington Quay just past Clarence Hotel (Temple Bar) into Parliament Street. * Take a right turn into Lord Edward St., then left past JURYS INN HOTEL to Patrick St. * Take From Patrick St, (past St Patrick's Cathedral on your left) on straight to Harold's Cross, Terenure Rd North, Rathfarnham Rd., past Rathfarnham Castle , turn right at the Catholic Church and "The Yellow House Pub" into Willbrook Rd. * Continue on to the right past "The Tuning Fork Pub". and "Buglers Pub", straight on to Edmondstown Rd. past Edmondstown Golf Course, & The Merry Ploughboy Pub (formally Doherty's Pub). * Take next left into Tibradden Rd., then immediate right into Mutton Lane, and take next right into Tibradden Lane, continue on to the end of road - the road ends in a cul de sac at the Cottages.
From Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port
* Leave Ferry port gates turn right (sign for Dublin and N11and M50)· * Turn right at traffic lights (sign for all other routes) Irish Sea Fisheries/BIM building in front of you. * Continue on for 1.4 miles to a T junction take left at Newtown Ave. * Then get into left lane white N11 sign. * Then at y junction get into right lane onto Stradbrook Rd. * Turn right at traffic lights on to Newtownpark Ave. * Continue on past Guardian Angels Church and Playwright Pub. * Continue on up hill to traffic lights with N11. * Straight across Dual Carriageway N11 following signs for Sandyford/ Leopardstown/M50. * See Leopardstown Race Course on your left. * At Roundabout take 2nd exit. * Next Roundabout take 1st exit - Sandyford/Stepaside/R113 * Next Roundabout take 2nd exit - R113 * R113 - straight on (middle lane) through traffic lights * Continue on straight through cross roads to Blackglen Rd (shops on left) * Past Lamb Doyles Pub on your left. * On past Grange Star Shop on your left. * At traffic lights veer towards left on to College Rd. Do not turn up towards Thatched Pub, make sure it is College Rd you are on, College Rd has new Granite walls on either side Marley Park should be on your right hand side. * Continue on to a T junction turn left. * Go under new Motorway bridge to roundabout, take 2nd exit on to Tibradden Rd. * Continue on to another T junction, turn left into Mutton Lane sign for Larch Hill Scout Campsite. * Take next turn right into Tibradden Lane, (see small granite stone with Tibradden Lane on it). * Continue on to the end of Tibradden Lane and the Cottages are at the end of the Cul de Sac.
From Rosslare Ferry Port
* From Rosslare Ferry Port take N11 direction Dublin. * Coming towards Dublin N11 becomes M11. * THEN TAKE M50 (see big blue signs ) centre lane. * Continue on M50 (Northbound). * Take Exit 12 sign for Firhouse/Ballyboden. * Roundabout take 3rd exit. Follow signs for Ballyboden. * Next roundabout take 1st exit. Follow signs for Ballyboden. * Then next roundabout take 2nd exit past St Colmcilles School. * Next roundabout take 2nd exit. * Next roundabout take 3rd exit to R116 (Rockbrook) * Continue on past Edmondstown Golf Club. * Take next left into Tibradden Rd., then immediate right into Mutton Lane, continue on and take next right into Tibradden Lane, continue on to the end of road - the road ends in a cul de sac at the Cottages.
