This charming 2 (+ 1) bedroomed cottage for up to 5 people, is attached to the owner’s home on a small working farm in rural Northumberland, home of Moorgair Alpacas. The cottage is furnished to a high standard and has every convenience to make your holiday stress free and enjoyable. Cot and high chair available. Private garden and parking. From the doorstep there are miles of forest tracks and country lanes for walkers and cyclists, whilst being ideally situated to explore Northumberland, Durham and the Scottish Borders. A small shop, post office and two pubs serving food (one with an excellent adventure playground) are within 1½ miles of the cottage.
Location:
Moorgair Cottage is easily found 6 miles from both the A68 and A69. From the A68. Travelling north from Castleside towards Corbridge take the small road on the left, signposted Slaley, just past the Manor House Hotel. Turn left at the next T-junction and follow the road past Slaley Hall Hotel. Turn left at the first set of crossroads, signposted Springhouse, ignore immediate small crossroads and go straight over next set of crossroads. Moorgair is second on the left, 3/4 mile from the crossroads. From the A69. Travelling south from Hexham on B6306 Hexham to Blanchland road, take the first right after the Travellers Rest pub. Turn left at crossroads (3/4 mile). Moorgair is second on the right 1/4 mile from the crossroads.
