Description:

The 2 bedroomed cottage, built in traditional carrstone, sleeps four and is set in a quiet location in the village, yet within a short walk to local shops and pubs. Just 50 yards from the cottage you are into open countryside! THE COTTAGE HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE PARKING SPACE AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY. A separate entrance hall leading to a dining/sitting room, which has comfortable sofas, brick fire place with log effect electric fire, colour Freesat TV, video, CD/radio, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped with electric hob, fan oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed, extensive wardrobe and cupboard space and a hand basin. The second bedroom has twin pine beds and spacious cupboard/hanging area. The bathroom is fully tiled with electric shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. Central and water heating is by economy 7, boosted by wall mounted heaters when required. French doors from the sitting room open out onto an enclosed patio area. A gate leads through to the courtyard at the rear. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the rental. Well behaved pets welcome for a small supplement. Short breaks Nov to March and at other times at short notice, subject to availability. The cottage is non-smoking.



Location:

Snettisham is a real Norfolk village set in a conservation area. The pebble beach is a 10 min drive, and Hunstanton and Royal Sandringham are 3 miles away. The lovely beaches at Holkham, Brancaster and Holme are all within easy reach, as are the coastal resorts of Wells, Sheringham and Cromer. For interesting shopping, there is Burnham Market (little Chelsea), just 10 - 15 mins drive, and Holt. Other local attractions include the Park Farm in the village, and castle ruins at Castle Rising and Castle Acre. There are National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area, as well as theatres and cinemas at Hunstanton, Kings Lynn (10 miles) and Norwich (40 miles). The area is also ideal for walking. Pretty villages, quaint pubs and cosy tea-rooms are in abundance in this peaceful part of the country. The village itself boasts a newsagent/general store, butchers, 2 pubs, and a superb bistro.
