Mowhay Cottage is part of East Rose, a small hamlet of holiday cottages, set in 17 acres with wonderful views over rolling Cornish countryside. Mowhay Cottage is located between the picturesque villages of Blisland and St Breward, with easy access to the superb North Cornish Coast including Wadebridge, Padstow and Newquay.
The Eden Project, Camel Trail, Lost Gardens of Heligan and an endless choice of wonderful beaches and coastal paths are within easy reach.
Mowhay Cottage has been thoughtfully converted from a traditional stone barn. Equipped to near RADAR standards, the cottage provides high quality accommodation and has one double bedroom with substantial shower room suitable for wheelchair users, one twin bedroom, a bathroom, an open plan kitchen and lounge and dining area in the traditional Cornish Roundhouse.
With all the cottages no more than 75 metres from the pegs, East Rose forms a superb venue for a fishing holiday; the five lakes, with a surface area of more than three acres, form a superb natural water in this most remote and tranquil of sites. Four of the lakes have been professionally developed into a high quality coarse fishery. With over half a mile of banks and 22 thoughtfully sited pegs to choose from there is enough good sport to provide a challenge for the most proficient angler.
East Rose is situated on the western edge of Bodmin Moor, which has some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery in the country, and we are sure, whatever the reason, that you will enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
