All pets welcome. Detached stone built traditional island house, recently renovated, situated on it's own jetty on the edge of St. Margaret's Hope. Comfortable, centrally heated accommodation in which to base yourselves, as you explore the area, and the rest of Orkney. Oil central heating including in price.
Location:
Garleton provides a comfortable base for the many activities to be found in the area, amongst which are sea and free trout fishing in all the lochs on Orkney, swimming and white sandy beaches nearby. By arrangement, rough shooting, tennis and sailing can be enjoyed. There is a sub-aqua centre nearby with full facilities. For the bird watcher Orkney provides unrivalled opportunities for the many rare species to be seen. Bus 0.25 miles, Ferry 0.7 miles, Airport 12 miles. Parking is alongside the house and garden. The village provides a full range of shoping facilities, one hotel, a seafood restuarant and a Sub-Post Office.
