Bluegate Farm Holiday Cottages

Description:

Jersey and Beechbury cottages have been beautifully converted and each sleeps up to six adults.

Downstairs you enter from a timber and tile porch into a lovely, spacious, oak-beamed dining kitchen with rayburn oven, giving you a warm welcome when you arrive. The fully fitted kitchen is also equipped with, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also, on the ground floor is the twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room complete with toilet and sink.

Upstairs there is a light and airy lounge with vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beams with magnificent views through the French windows across open farmland towards the Chiltern Hills. There is a log burning stove (gas fueled) set in a large brick built fireplace. Also a sofa bed to sleep an extra two adults or children and should you need them there is a TV, Video and CD player. A large double bedroom, again with open beams and countryside views is also on the first floor. Next to this is a family bathroom. Cots and highchair are available on request.

Both cottages have been beautifully converted from a red-brick barn, on our working farm, to a very high standard. They are very well-equipped with gas central heating throughout. Each cottage is two storey and has it’s own private garden area with furniture and plenty of car-parking space. There are pubs and restaurants available nearby and we do offer baby sitting by arrangement. The cottages are cleaned before guests arrive but we ask for your co-operation in caring for the property and in the disposal of rubbish. Duvets, bed linen and towels are provided and electricity and gas are included. Both of our properties are non-smoking. Please note we cannot allow pets because of consideration for the farm.
