Description:
The Wood Shed (sleeps 4) is a delightful dwelling of character set in a small paddock overlooking open countryside, 10 minutes walk to the centre of the town of Tavistock. Right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park the accommodation is ideal for those who like walking, horse riding, cycling, golf and fishing. The accommodation has a double bedroom, large shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and living room on the ground floor, with large leather sofa. The focal point of the room is a wonderful wood burning stove for those chilly evenings. Upstairs is a twin bedroom and small bathroom. The Wood Shed also has a rayburn but also has a conventional electric oven and hob, refrigerator, small freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, colour television, iron and ironing board and ample storage space. Outside you will find a patio area with a slate topped table and seating. A barbeque is also available for your use on sunny evenings. Bed linen is provided and we have ample parking space. The weekly tariff starts at £250 (low season) and we can also quote for a daily rate. There is a small extra charge for electricity used (by way of a £1 coin operated meter). If necessary, basic provisions can be bought in readiness for your arrival.
The Pump House (sleeps 2-3) is a delightful small lodge type cottage set beside a small lake just 10 minutes walk from the town of Tavistock on the boundary of Dartmoor National Park. Right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park the accommodation is ideal for those who like walking, horse riding, cycling, golf and fishing. The accommodation is open plan and comprises a modern shower room, mezzanine landing with double bed, kitchen area with halogen Neff hob, microwave and refrigerator, a small wood burning stove for the chilly evenings. There is also a colour television for your use. The weekly tariff starts at £180 (low season) but we can also quote for a daily rate. There is a small extra charge for electricity used (by way of a £1 coin operated meter). Ample parking space, bed linen provided and, if necessary, basic provisions can be bought in readiness for your arrival.
Cot and high chair are now not available as we ask people to bring their own. Non smoking establishments on both units.

We are located only a 10 minute walk away from the boundary of the 368 square miles of Dartmoor National Park and also the same time from the picturesque town centre of Tavistock where there is still a weekly market.
