It is next to The Bishop's Palace and Gardens and the magnificent Cathedral is just 4 minutes walk away. The cottage has a lovely rural outlook over fields and parkland and is part of the owners property, a small holding of 2.5 acres. Just a few minutes walk passing the moated Bishop's Palace is the ancient Market Place which leads to the High Street where there are varied shops, restaurants, inns and eating places. Markets are still held every Wednesday (Farmer's Market) and Saturday throughout the year. There is a park, bowling green and children's playground just across the road.
