Moon Fleat is a traditional 300 year old stone, cosy cottage in West Quantoxhead in the beautiful Quantock Hills AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), with panoramic views of Exmoor and across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. Nestled on the Quantock Hills on a narrow lane going up to the plantation of "Staple Plain". Views are breathtaking over the landscape of the Brendons, Exmoor, North Hill, Minehead, Blue anchor and over to South Wales. The Coleridge Way runs past the front door. Glorious walks on the Quantock Hills. Plenty of Combes to explore plus the tracks on the top. Westquantockhead is a quite rural village. St Audries Garage also has a shop. The Windmill Public House is recommended for meals. A quaint church is opposite the Windmill Pub. Quantock is known for its wildlife, especially the red deer and Quantock ponies.
