Imagine life in a stone cottage in a picturesque village on the North Lancashire / South Cumbria border. Greenfold cottages have recently been converted from ancient farm buildings in the heart of Yealand Redmayne, a pretty little place only 30 minutes from the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Careful attention has been paid to detail, with architectural features preserved and thoughtful touches such as a garden swing placed just at the best spot in the garden to enjoy the view. Each cottage is unique and spacious, with plenty of room for a family to relax and each has an outdoor patio with garden furniture. A communal barbecue area at the bottom of the gardens is perfect for a summer evening after a day spent exploring the stunning coast and countryside around the area.
Location:
Exit the M6 at junction 35 and take the A601 for Carnforth. In 1 mile turn right at the roundabout (A6) for Milnthorpe (Pine Lake on the right). In half a mile you will come to a roundabout stay on ther A6 towards Milnthorpe. Stay on the A6 for approximately 3 miles and take the fourth exit on the left into Nineteen Acre Lane, continue on into Eight Acre Lane, until at a T junction of Silverdale Road, Greenfold Cottages are straight ahead of you, turn right into Silverdale Road, the entrance is immediately on your left. Brown Signs direct you to our Main Site Middlebarrow, where you can make use of the full facilities.
